Rickan

Rickan is the proprietor of Assorted Goods in Rustknoll. He is also the effective town leader, though the town is too small to have much in the way of formal organization.

Description

Rickan is a human male somewhere in his mid-fifties. His cropped hair and beard are mostly grey, turning from their original dark brown. He wears breastplate and goes armed.

Background

Rickan and another of his party, Hamish, helped save a Rustwall family from the orcs. Rickan fell in love with the farmer's daughter and decided to retire. Through trickery and combat, he managed to eliminate the stronger orc tribes in the area, defeat the chief of the weakest, and come to an arrangement whereby the town and orcs tolerate one another.
